Old Jefferson, Louisiana 4/2/24 – Carnival Culinary Solutions, the manufacturing arm of Pigéon Catering & Events, announces the successful completion of its relocation from Front Street in New Orleans to a state-of-the-art facility in Jefferson Parish. Situated at 803 Jefferson Highway, the revamped facility now accommodates Carnival Culinary Solutions, Pigéon Catering, and the all-new Le Provisions gourmet market.

Carnival Culinary Solutions has increased its production capacity to 175K pounds of food per week, with plans to further scale up to 50,000 pounds per day. The facility spans 44,000 square feet and boasts cutting-edge amenities including a 10,000-square-foot freezer capable of holding 500 pallets, facilitating efficient storage and distribution. Carnival Culinary Solutions is gearing up to triple its workforce while shifting to a 24-hour operational model. This growth strategy includes transferring 90-115 employees from different entities to the Jefferson Parish facility. The workforce in Jefferson Parish will reach 200, including 45 part-time employees dedicated to event management. Additionally, it encompasses 77 employees engaged in managing over 10 school lunch programs.

The facility also boasts an in-house bakery that recently debuted its first king cake just in time for Mardi Gras, churning out over 4000 cakes in a short span. Additionally, they bake their own bread and craft all desserts in-house.
